Activated Carbon

Activated Carbon

Activated Carbon can be produced from a high variety of carbonaceous raw material. The primary ones being coal, coconut shell, wood and ignite.

Applications:

  • Solvent Recovery
  • Vapor Phase
  • Hydrocarbons
  • PSA
  • Acid Washed
  • Decolorize
  • Water Treatment

Coal Base Activated Carbon

  • Large pore structure
  • Used for larger molecule contaminants such as chlorine, hydrogen sulfide, petroleum, tannins etc.

Coconut Shell Activated Carbon

  • Small pores structure
  • Used for small molecule contaminants such as THM (Trihalomethanes)
  • Especially effective on chloramine and MTBE.

Other Applications:

  • Solvent Recovery
  • Vapor Phase
  • Hydrocarbons
  • PSA
  • Acid Washed
  • Decolorize
