Activated Carbon
Activated Carbon can be produced from a high variety of carbonaceous raw material. The primary ones being coal, coconut shell, wood and ignite.
Applications:
- Solvent Recovery
- Vapor Phase
- Hydrocarbons
- PSA
- Acid Washed
- Decolorize
- Water Treatment
Coal Base Activated Carbon
- Large pore structure
- Used for larger molecule contaminants such as chlorine, hydrogen sulfide, petroleum, tannins etc.
Coconut Shell Activated Carbon
- Small pores structure
- Used for small molecule contaminants such as THM (Trihalomethanes)
- Especially effective on chloramine and MTBE.
Other Applications:
- Solvent Recovery
- Vapor Phase
- Hydrocarbons
- PSA
- Acid Washed
- Decolorize
More detailed information on each type of activated carbon is available upon request.
